Course Length:

1 Day (Assessment only) or 3 Days (Training & Assessment)

Course Eligibility:

Technicians should be in full-time employment with a minimum of 4 years of experience. This is to ensure you are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection & system diagnosis. 


Depending on your experience, you will need to either complete the 1-day or 3 -day course. A pre-assessment will be completed to determine which course is suitable for you.

Modules covered in the course include tailored learning for students that can cover: 

  • Tailored learning for students through a variety of learning methods

  • The inspection of emissions

  • Electrics

  • Braking

  • Steering & suspension systems

  • The overall vehicle inspection

  • Vehicle appraisal system

During the course, you will be working in our purpose-built training facility with the latest equipment. 


By the end of this course, you will have gained the skills and knowledge required to perform a vehicle inspection. Once you’ve gained your ATA or VTAA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation, you can take the next steps towards your MOT Tester Licence.
