Step 1: Eligibility
You should be in full time employment with a minimum of 4 years experience of a role involving inspection, maintenance or repair of vehicles.
Step 2: Light Vehicle Inspection
Option of 3 Day Course or 1 Day Assessment to gain skills needed to perform a vehicle inspection and receive your accreditation. Move to Step 3 if you already hold a Light Vehicle Inspection certification.
Step 3: MOT Tester Courses
Level 2 Award to cover the MOT Tester Manual and systems. 3 Days of Training and assessment to qualify.
Step 4: DVSA Demonstration Test
Final VT8 Demonstration Test under DVSA observation. On-site familiarity and support from our trainers.
Once complete, you're a nominated tester!
