Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection






               Course Overview


               The Light Vehicle inspection route is intended for technicians whose job role
               involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles.   We offer this
               course as a:


                       1-day Assessment Only - for the talented and experienced technician
                       3-day Training and Assessment qualification


               Eligibility


               If you do not have any qualifications or accreditations, this course is the first
               step in becoming a qualified MOT Tester. Ideally the technician should be in

               full time employment with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to ensure they
               are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection & system


               diagnosis.

             Course Content


                     This is a practical way to demonstrate individual capability, providing
                     independent proof of current competence, knowledge, and skills.
                     Module’s covered in the course include the inspection of emissions,

                     electrical, braking, steering & suspension systems, the overall vehicle
                     inspection, and vehicle appraisal system. By the end of this course you will
                     have gained the skills and knowledge required to perform a vehicle
                     inspection using a logical method and the appropriate workshop equipment.
