Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection

Course Overview

This course is the first step in becoming an MOT Tester. It is intended for technicians whose job role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles. We offer this course as a:

  • 1-day assessment only: For the talented and experienced technician
  • 3-day Training and assessment qualification

Module’s covered in the course include the inspection of emissions, electrical, braking, steering & suspension systems, the overall vehicle inspection, and vehicle appraisal system. By the end of this course you will have gained the skills and knowledge required to perform a vehicle inspection using a logical method and the appropriate workshop equipment.

Requirements

Ideally the technician should be in full time employment with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to ensure they are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection & system diagnosis.
