Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection

Course Overview

Our Light Vehicle Inspection course is the first step in becoming an MOT Tester. It is intended for technicians whose job role involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles. We offer the course as a 1-day assessment, for those technicians with experience. Alternatively, a 3-day course for technicians with minimal experience or starting your automotive career.

Modules covered in the course include the inspection of emissions, electrical, braking, steering & suspension systems, the overall vehicle inspection, and vehicle appraisal system. During the course, you will be working in our purpose-built training facility with the latest equipment. By the end of this course, you will have gained the skills and knowledge required to perform a vehicle inspection. In summary, once you’ve gained your ATA or VTAA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation, you can take the next steps towards your MOT Tester Licence. The next course, would be our Class 4 & 7, click here for further information.
