MOT Training Course for Class 4 & 7
Course Overview
Want to become an MOT tester? Becoming an MOT tester is easier now than ever as a sponsoring test station is no longer required. Why not add the extra skill to your repertoire, thus increasing your employability!
What does it involve? This is a 4-day course, incorporating both the theory and practical elements of being an MOT Tester. Training will be completed at our purpose-built centre, fully equipped with the latest connected equipment. Throughout the course, you will receive support from our experienced, qualified teachers. After successful completion of the course, you will complete a DVSA demonstration test. By this stage, you will be very familiar with the vehicle and equipment and of course, we will be there to support you.
Requirements
To become a class 4 & 7 tester you must already have:
- A level 3 qualification recognised by DVSA – click here to view a list of DVSA approved qualifications. If you do not have this qualification, we offer a Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection Course. If you're not sure, give us a call and we can discuss the best possible route for you 0333 358 2555.
- A current & full UK driving license for the classes of vehicles you wish to test
- A minimum of four years’ experience working in a garage.
- Be of Good Repute as determined by the DVSA
You cannot become a tester if you have any unspent criminal convictions for criminal offences.
